1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JournalReady ("the Service"), operated by Bayan AI Technologies, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

JournalReady provides AI-powered tools to assist medical researchers with manuscript preparation, literature review, statistical analysis, journal matching, and other research workflow tasks. The Service is a research assistant tool and does not constitute medical, legal, or professional advice.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. All prices are in USD. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from your account page or by contacting support. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.

Access codes provided by institutions or administrators grant access as specified by the code terms and may be revoked at any time by the issuing administrator.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate fraudulent, plagiarized, or fabricated research
• Submit AI-generated content as solely your own work without appropriate disclosure
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the Service
• Share your account credentials or access codes with unauthorized parties
• Upload content that violates third-party intellectual property rights

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence models to assist with research tasks. AI outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or hallucinations. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and taking responsibility for all content generated using the Service before submission to journals or other parties. JournalReady does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your original manuscripts, data, and research materials uploaded to the Service. AI-generated outputs (suggestions, edits, cover letters, etc.) are provided for your use and you may incorporate them into your work. JournalReady does not claim ownership of your content or AI outputs.

8. Data Privacy

Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data. Uploaded manuscripts and research data are processed to provide the Service and are not used to train AI models.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. JournalReady shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to manuscript rejections, missed deadlines, or inaccurate AI outputs. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, after which it will be permanently deleted.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
