Refund Policy

Subscriptions

JournalReady Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription. We do not offer a built-in free trial. Free access, when available, is provided through the free tier, approved requests, or institutional access codes.

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. When you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused days within a billing period.

If you cancel within 48 hours of your first payment, we will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. When you cancel, you retain access until the end of your annual billing period.

If you cancel within 14 days of your annual payment, we will review refund requests and may issue a pro-rated refund for unused time.

After 14 days, refunds are generally not available for annual subscriptions, but you will retain access for the remainder of your paid period.

Access Codes

Access provided through institutional or invitation codes is free of charge and is not subject to refunds. Access may be revoked by the issuing administrator at any time.

Service Issues

If you experience significant service downtime or technical issues that prevent you from using the Service for an extended period (more than 3 consecutive days), please contact us for a credit or refund consideration. We handle these on a case-by-case basis.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@journalready.ai with your account email and the reason for your request. We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this refund policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
